The Fellowship of Orthodox Churches of Connecticut (FORCC) with its true meaning of FELLOWSHIP has successfully united Orthodox churches to work together as a team to promote the Orthodox Faith throughout Connecticut.

The FELLOWSHIP has appointed six (6 ) members of good standing to administer the FORCC Scholarship program. Presentation of this Scholarship Award will he given out each year at the FORCC's annual dinner.

Below is a description of the FORCC Scholarship explaining SPONSORSHIP, PURPOSE, QUALIFICATIONS , and SELECTION OF CANDIDATES:

SPONSORSHIP:

This Scholarship is made available to any high school graduate entering college for the first time and is an Orthodox parishioner of any one of the churches who are members of FORCC.

PURPOSE:

To promote and influence any boy/girl who is highly qualified in all the requirements and needs financial aid, and who is outstandingly and actively involved in the Orthodox Faith.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must meet all requirements per attached Schedule A.

SELECTION OF CANDIDATES:

A Scholarship Committee, composed of six FORCC members, chairmen and co-chairmen of the Board, will study all applications and will base their final decision in compliance with the above. All applications will remain confidential.

(All applications are assigned a number. Selections by the committee are made only by the assigned number on the application and not by name or name of church.)
